HandFR 10 Successfully Selected into the 2025 Safety and Emergency Equipment Industry Application Casebook

From April 16 to 18, the 2025 Safety and Emergency Equipment Industry Application Casebook was officially released at the “Safety and Emergency Industry Ecosystem Development Forum” held at the Hangzhou International Exhibition Center. Following a rigorous selection process by expert panels reviewing hundreds of submitted cases, BFRL stood out with its “Portable Hazardous Chemicals Detector (HandFR 10 portable Fourier

transform infrared and Raman spectrometer)” and was successfully selected into the 2025 Safety and Emergency Equipment Industry Application Casebook.

The Casebook was compiled under the leadership of the Safety and Emergency Industry Branch of the China Association for Disaster Prevention, in full alignment with the national strategy to accelerate innovation and development of emergency management equipment. It serves as a significant measure to promote high-quality growth in the safety and emergency industry. The publication highlights cutting-edge technologies and benchmark practices, presenting a comprehensive overview of top-tier achievements in China’s safety and emergency equipment sector, providing authoritative reference for government decision-making, industrial upgrading, and societal application. Selection criteria were stringent, with each included case representing the highest standards of the industry.  

 

The HandFR 10 Portable Hazardous Chemicals Detector integrates Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy and Raman Spectroscopy technologies into a compact handheld device. Offering rapid, accurate, and non-destructive detection, it is designed for on-site inspection and physical hazard identification of hazardous chemicals across diverse scenarios.  

 

This selection stands as a strong affirmation of BFRL technical strength, innovation capabilities, and industry influence. Moving forward, we will leverage this achievement as an opportunity to drive continuous technological iteration and product innovation, delivering more advanced and reliable equipment to support the high-quality development of China’s safety and emergency industry.
