BIIC’s self-developed mass spectrometer showed at Two Major Exhibitions, Empowering R&D and Testing

In late May, Beijing BIIC Intelligent Technology showcased its HMS 7600 Series High-Resolution LC-MS/MS System, HMS 7010 Series Triple Quadrupole GC-MS/MS System, and HMS 7500 Series Triple Quadrupole LC-MS/MS System at both the 4th National Academic Symposium on Mass Spectrometry (hosted by the Chinese Chemical Society) and the 64th China Higher Education Expo. The company demonstrated the innovative achievements and application capabilities of domestically developed mass spectrometry technologies.

The three core mass spectrometry instruments on display form a complete domestic MS solution portfolio covering GC-MS/MS, triple quadrupole LC-MS/MS, and high-resolution LC-MS/MS. They are designed to support diverse scenarios including advanced academic research, routine analytical testing, and university teaching and research, fully reflecting BIIC’s comprehensive product layout and independent R&D strengths in the field of mass spectrometry.

At the 4th National Academic Symposium on Mass Spectrometry, industry experts and scholars gathered to exchange views on cutting-edge MS developments, innovative applications, and trends in domestic MS technology. During the exhibition, BIIC’s new MS products attracted many experts and analytical testing professionals for in-depth discussions.

At the symposium, Dr. Yao from BIIC delivered a keynote presentation titled “Challenges in Food Safety Analysis and Domestic Mass Spectrometry Solutions” in the Food Analysis session and shared the comprehensive solutions in food safety analysis, elaborated on the technical features and application advantages of its independently developed MS instruments, addressed key challenges in current food safety testing, and presented localized, high-performance domestic MS solutions. The talk provided new ideas for the practical application of MS technology in the industry and received wide recognition from attendees.

Held at the same time, the 64th Higher Education Expo China, themed “Empowerment Collaboration ·Excellence: Serving the High-Quality Development of Higher Education,” is a highly influential event in China’s higher education sector. The expo focused on the innovative development of domestic research instruments, featuring a special zone for high-end locally manufactured instruments to support the substitution of imported instruments with domestic alternatives and the standardization of laboratory construction in universities. The new product of BIIC Mass Spectrometry is a hot topic in the standardization construction of university laboratories and the display area of domestic instruments. It precisely meets the core needs of university practical teaching, scientific research and laboratory construction.

Throughout the two exhibitions, the BIIC’s Mass Spectrometry and Life Science team stayed fully engaged, connecting closely with experts and scholars from universities, research institutes, and testing organizations.
