BIIC Tech at the 2026 Autonomous Lab Conference: Pioneering AI-Powered Scientific Instruments

July 14, 2026 – As a key series event of the Zhongguancun Forum, the 2026 Autonomous Lab Conference was held at the Zhongguancun International Technology Transfer Center. As one of the three parallel symposiums of this major conference, the Instrumentation Foundation Forum, hosted by Beijing Instrument Industry Group Co., Ltd., saw its core business platform Beijing BIIC Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. (BIIC Tech) —participate with a range of self-developed domestic scientific instruments, showcasing its innovations and practical application achievements.

The Instrumentation Foundation Forum centered on critical topics including technological breakthroughs in high-end scientific instruments, intelligent upgrades, and the development of standard systems. It brought together representatives from government regulatory bodies, research institutes, industry leaders, and standardization organizations to exchange cutting-edge research, share industrial practices, and explore new pathways for high-quality development. The forum aimed to build consensus and foster collaborative innovation within the autonomous lab industry ecosystem.

As the core business arm of Beijing Instrument Industry Group Co., Ltd., BIIC Tech presented multiple products at the conference. During the achievement release session, the company unveiled its self-developed core mass spectrometry instruments and actively participated in industry roundtable discussions, comprehensively demonstrating its independent innovation capabilities and industrialization practices in the scientific instrument sector.

At the exhibition, BIIC Tech displayed a variety of independently developed instruments and equipment, covering laboratory analytical instruments, on-site rapid testing devices, industrial sensors, and computing power supporting systems. The highlighted products included:

HMS 600 Standard Solution Diluter

IM301-Ra Portable Toxic and Hazardous Substance Detector,ES-1030 and ES-1200 Non-Invasive Passive Wireless Power Sensors,GW-1000 Edge Computing Gateway, along with digital energy solutions

These high-end, domestically produced, and intelligent instruments attracted significant attention from government agencies, industry experts, and academic researchers. Vice General Manager Li Yuan accompanied the explanation on site, comprehensively introducing the independent research and development process of the product, breakthroughs in localization technology, and industry application directions

Special Achievement Presentation: Sharing Progress in Mass Spectrometry R&D

Mr. Yao Jijun, Deputy Director of the Technology Center at BIIC Tech, delivered a presentation titled "AI-Driven High-End Domestic Mass Spectrometers." He introduced the company's self-developed HMS series LC-MS and Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) systems. These products cover both triple quadrupole and high-resolution technological paths, achieving domestic production of core components. By leveraging AI technology, BIIC Tech has streamlined the entire intelligent testing process, effectively lowering the operational threshold for mass spectrometry while significantly improving analytical efficiency. These systems are widely applicable in fields such as food safety, biomedicine, environmental monitoring, and chemical material analysis. The entire instrument suite is independently designed and manufactured through the group's industrial platform, providing domestic research institutions and enterprises with highly efficient and accurate analytical solutions.

Roundtable Dialogue: Exchanging Insights on Industrial Implementation

The conference organized a roundtable discussion on the high-quality development of scientific instruments, with attendees including representatives from metrology institutions, research institutes, universities, industry enterprises, and other parties. The dialogue was themed "Deep Dialogue on the High Quality Development of Scientific Instruments" and focused on core topics such as intelligent upgrading of scientific instruments, standard construction, and talent cultivation

Li Yuan, Deputy General Manager of Jingyi Intelligent Technology, participated in the roundtable dialogue as a representative. He shared practical experience and had in-depth exchanges with the participants on the scenario based laboratory supporting scheme for self-developed instruments of multiple categories, based on the company's experience in mass spectrometry instrument research and development, production, and market.
